Accessible since La Rochelle by a 3 kilometer bridge, Île de Ré seduces the visitor from the first look. Sea resort is situated in the center of the island, the village has 6 km long and beautiful fine sand beaches, which hide behind their dunes a vast wooded territory convenient to long hikes. The variety of bicycle paths will drive you through the territory, in the discovery of the authenticity of each of nine other villages. In summer the most important daily market of the island is in the Bois-Plage-En-Ré.

Come by car : Of Paris, to take the highway A 10 in the direction of Bordeaux, go out to Niort(taken out N 33 may follow the direction La Rochelle then Île de Ré (480 km env.)
Of Bordeaux, take also the highway A 10 in the direction of Paris, take out in the panel(sign) La Rochelle - Rochefort, then follow the direction(management) La Rochelle then Île de Ré (195 km env.)
